This Court made the following:
ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS, directing the Respondent No.3 to produce the detenu, viz., Fathe Akram Ali, S/o. Akram Ali, aged about 23 years, now detained in Central Prison, Cherlapally, Hyderabad, before this Hon'ble Court and order for release after declaring the detention order passed by the Respondent No.2 dated 17.11.2015 bearing proceedings No.50/PD/CCRB/CYB/2015 and approved by 1st respondent in G.O.Rt. No.3118 dt.27-11-2015 as being illegal, arbitrary, unilateral and un-constitutional and violative of Articles 21 and 22 of Constitution of India and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
At the hearing, Sri T. Bapuji, learned counsel, representing Sri Sunil Gawasane, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that during pendency of the Writ Petition, the detenu was released and that, therefore, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.
In view of the above submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
