Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Minority Welfare Department for respondent No.1 and Sri Abu Akram, learned standing counsel for Wakf Board for respondent No.2.

This writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings of the Chief Executive Officer, 2nd respondent, dated 26.11.2020, leasing out the wakf property mentioned therein.

When the matter is take up, Sri Abu Akram, learned standing counsel representing respondent No.2 - Wakf Board informs the Court that by order dated 08.12.2020, the proceedings dated 26.11.2020 were withdrawn and another land in Survey No.96 is allotted for the purpose for which the proceedings were issued on 26.11.2020.

Having regard to the statement of learned standing counsel, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. 5.
