This writ petition is filed questioning the inaction of the respondents in processing the renewal application dated 06.11.2015 for grant of quarry lease for quartz over an extent of 15.943 hectares (reduced extent) in Survey No.300 of Mallepally village, and Survey No.34 of Terpole village, Kondapur Mandal, Sangareddy District.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.

In the counter affidavit filed by the 3rd respondent, it is stated that the application of the petitioner has already been processed and necessary recommendations have been sent to the 2nd respondent-Director of Mines and Geology on 08.03.2019, for passing appropriate orders. Having regard to the submissions made, as the grievance in the writ petition is the alleged inaction on the part of the respondent authorities with respect to the application dated 06.11.2015, inasmuch as the application has been processed and necessary orders are being passed, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application dated 06.11.2015 by taking into consideration the contentions of respondent No.4, in accordance with law, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
