HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U. DURGA PRASAD RAO Criminal Petition No.1335 of 2018 ORDER:

The petitioners and their counsel Sri Mir Ahmed Khan, are present. 2nd respondent and his counsel Sri Mohd. Adnan, are present. Both the parties are identified by their respective counsel. 2) On the complaint filed by the defacto complainant, the police of Tappachabutra PS, Hyderabad City, registered Crime No.129/2015 and after investigation laid charge sheet against A.1 and A.2 and the same was taken cognizance and registered as C.C.No.911 of 2015 by the learned VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. 3) The defacto complainant and A.1 are the husband and wife. It is submitted on their behalf that due to some matrimonial disputes, the complaint was filed by the defacto complainant. However, pending the litigation, due to the intervention of elders, they have amicably resolved their disputes and therefore, they proposed to live together keeping in view of the future of their children.

4) On this submission, the parties request the Court to permit them to compound the offences. This Court in its order dated 28.03.2018 in I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2018, accorded permission considering that the entire case is relating to matrimonial offences and it has no impact on the society.

5) Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings against the petitioners/A.1 and A.2 in C.C.No.911 of 2015 on the file of the VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, are quashed and accordingly, they are acquitted.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any pending, shall stand closed.
