This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused seeking to quash the proceedings against him in CC No.637 of 2015 on the file of XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Rajendranagar, Rangareddy District. Heard and perused the material available on record. The petitioner is alleged to have committed the offences punishable under Sections 338 IPC and 196(A) of the Motor Vehicles Act. It is alleged that the petitioner dashed the injured person, who is a friend of the de facto complainant, with his motor cycle while he was crossing the road, due to which the injured received grievous injuries. .....Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings against the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________ RAJA ELANGO, J April 29, 2016.
