SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.4567 OF 2013 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to issue a direction to the respondent authorities to release the petitioner's Tipper vehicle bearing No.AP-16-TX-9421, seized in connection with Crime No.157 of 2013 of Armoor Police Station, Nizamabad District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 379 IPC and Section 38 of the A.P. Water, Land and Tress Act.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor filed a Memo, dated 24.08.2018, stating that the police after completion of investigation filed charge sheet before the Court below, which came to be numbered as C.C.No.204 of 2013. The matter underwent trial and finally the Court below acquitted the petitioner for the said offence on 25.10.2016. 3.

Hence, the cause in this Criminal Petition does not survive for further adjudication and that the petition has become infructuous and is consequently, dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
