Against the orders passed by the Project Director terminating the contractual engagement of the petitioner, an appeal has been preferred to the District Collector on 15.11.2014 and it was also received by the Collector. Since six months' time has already elapsed, instead of keeping this Writ Petition pending, it would be appropriate to direct the Collector to deal with the appeal of the petitioner dated 15.11.2014, as expeditiously as is possible, preferably within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of after hearing Sri M.S.R. Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel, who accepted notice on behalf of the 4th respondent. No costs.
