THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.AMARNATH GOUD WRIT PETITION No.32064 of 2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The petitioner seeks a writ of Habeas Corpus to produce his wife, Mattela Bhargavi @ Fatima, from the illegal custody of the third respondent, her father, and to set her free.

2. The matter was taken up in-camera and we spoke to the alleged detenue, Mattela Bhargavi. She stated that though her date of birth is shown as 10.08.1999, she was actually born in the year 2000 and is yet to attain majority. She further stated that she did not marry the petitioner, be it in accordance with Hindu Law or Muslim Law. She confirmed that she is staying with her parents out of her own free will and consent and that she is not being held against her will. She categorically stated that she wants nothing to do with the petitioner.

3. In that view of the matter, we find that there is no evidence of any illegal custody of Mattela Bhargavi warranting exercise of jurisdiction for issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus.

4. The writ petition is devoid of merits and is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
