THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.2675 OF 2019

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the revenue authorities are not taking steps to regularize his unregistered Sale Deed (Sada Bainama) dated 31.10.2007 in relation to the total extent of land admeasuring Ac.10.38 guntas comprising Ac.3.19 guntas in Survey No.237/2E, Ac.2.04 guntas in Survey No.227 and Ac.5.15 guntas in Survey No.238/E of Yennepally Village, Vikarabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. The Government of Telangana issued G.O.Ms.No.153, Revenue (Assignment-I) Department, dated 03.06.2016 extending the time limit for regularization of Sada Bainamas under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, up to 15.06.2016. Admittedly, the petitioner made an application for such regularization on 07.06.2016.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Telangana, would confirm, upon instructions, that the application was made by the petitioner within time.

If that is so, there is no reason why the Tahsildar, Vikarabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, should remain somnolent over the application so made.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Vikarabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to take appropriate action on the application dated 07.06.2016 made by the petitioner in accordance with the due procedure and upon giving notice to the affected parties. This

exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. _______________ SANJAY KUMAR, J 12th FEBRUARY, 2019 Svv
