The Court made the following: [order follows] HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION NO. 5880 OF 2016 O R D E R :

The petitioner prays for mandamus, declaring the inaction of second respondent in considering and disposing of the representation/request made under section 121 [2] of A.P. Cooperative Societies Act, 1964 as illegal, arbitrary and amounts to refusing to exercise jurisdiction conferred on the second respondent.

2. At the request of learned Government Pleader, the writ petition was adjourned from 24/2/2016 to today.

3. On instructions, the learned Government Pleader submits that there is no inaction in considering the representation received on 30/1/2016 from the petitioner for the second respondent has already called upon the third respondent to send remarks on the representation filed by the petitioner. It is further stated that the second respondent is prepared to dispose of the representation within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned

counsel received on instructions, I am satisfied that the writ petition can be disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation/request dated 30/1/2016 within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
