The petitioner is stated to be a Mussali of Jamia-e-Masjid situated at Plot No.174, Salarjung Colony, Tolichowki, Hyderabad, and a person interested within the meaning of Section 3(k) of the Wakf Act, 1995. Since a Managing Committee is required for the better administration of wakf institution, he submitted a representation on 21.08.2015 for constitution of the Managing Committee under regulation 5 of the A.P. Wakf Managing Committee (Constitution, Functions and Duties) Regulation, 2009. When no action was taken by the Wakf Board, the present writ petition is filed. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent-Wakf Board fairly submitted that the present writ petition can be disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.08.2015 within a timeframe.

In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.08.2015 within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pass final orders thereon. There shall be no order as to costs.
