This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ A.1 to A.3, A.5 to A.8 & A.12 to A.16, to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.2 of 2016 on the file of Principal Sessions Judge, Karimnagar. 2 .

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 to A.3, A.5 to A.8 & A.12 to A.16, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondent-State and perused the record. 3 .

The learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 to A.3, A.5 to A.8 & A.12 to A.16 would submit that the learned Principal Sessions Judge has no power to take cognizance and proceed with the trial of the subject Calendar Case No.2 of 2016. The Court of I Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Karimnagar, has jurisdiction to try the subject Calendar Case and submits that he intends to agitate the same before the Court of Principal Sessions Judge, Karimnagar, and work out the remedies available under law.
