CVNR, J & GSP, J WA.No.692 of 2016 & WP.9883 of 2016 Dt: 16.08.2016 Common Order: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) Though the Writ Appeal arises out of an interlocutory order pending Writ Petition No.9883 of 2016, with the consent of the learned Counsel for both parties, we have heard the Writ Petition itself along with the Writ Appeal.

Respondent No.1 was engaged as a sweeper by the writ petitioners/appellants. The dispute pertains to payment of minimum wages. Respondent No.2 assessed the minimum wages at Rs.1,61,168/- for the period from 01.01.2006 to 31.01.2013 and also imposed penalty of 10 times the differential wages which together come to Rs.17,72,848/-.

The learned Counsel for both parties, after consulting their respective clients, have agreed that the writ petitioners will pay, in all, a sum of Rs.3 lakhs to respondent No.1 as full and final settlement of her claim.

In the light of the above, both the Writ Petition and Writ Appeal are disposed of by directing the writ petitioners/appellants to pay a sum of Rs.3 lakhs as full and final settlement of the claim of respondent No.1 within one month from today.

The impugned orders in both the Writ

CVNR, J & GSP, J WA.No.692 of 2016 & WP.9883 of 2016 Dt: 16.08.2016 Petition and Writ Appeal are set aside subject to the above condition and with the observation that this order shall not be treated as a precedent in other cases.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, stand disposed of as infructuous.
