THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT CONTEMPT CASE No.1777 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard Mr. V.V.Raghavaiah holding for Mr. S.D.Goud and Assistant Government Pleader for Assignment for respondents 1 and 2.

This contempt case is filed complaining disobedience of order dated 05.07.2017 in W.P.No.21514 of 2017 and operative portion reads thus:

"The petitioner is given liberty to represent all the grievances in the proposed assignment in Sy.No.1 of Surabhi Village, Chakrayapeta Mandal, YSR Kadapa District, to respondents 2 and 3 within one week from today by enclosing a copy of this order and respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the same while assigning plots to families belonging to Yerukula Caste (ST)."

The grievance of petitioner is against proposed assignment of house sites in Sy.No.1/1 of Surabhi Village, Chakrayapeta Mandal, YSR Kadapa District.

The present contempt case is filed complaining disobedience particularly proposing to assign house site plots in Sy.No.1/1 of Surabhi Village without considering and disposing of the representation said to have been filed by the petitioner.

On 01.09.2017, at request of Assistant Government Pleader, the contempt case was adjourned to enable to get instructions from respondents 1 and 2. The counsel places on record letter vide Ref.No.A/395/2017, dated 04.10.2017 to inform the Court that a decision is taken not to assign the land in Sy.No.1/1 of Surabhi Village and that steps are also taken for assigning nine (09) house plots in Sy.No.773 in Nersupalli abutting Nagulaguttapalli to Gondi Road.

The letter of 2nd respondent is placed on record and accepted. The petitioner was also informed of the decision taken by the respondent and received by petitioner on 20.09.2017.

In view of the developments, the counsel for petitioner seeks for closing the contempt case.

Contempt Case is closed accordingly. No order as to costs.

9.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
