Heard.

The petitioner, which is the Scheduled Caste Field Labour Cooperative Society Limited, has approached the 4th respondent to allot lanka land admeasuring Ac.55-18 cents in Sy.Nos.602/1, 610 and 607 situated at Ganiathkuru Village, Kanchikacharla Mandal, Krishna District, on lease. The said application is stated to have been examined by the various authorities including the 4th respondent and the matter is stated to be pending with the 3rd respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in spite of recommendation by the authorities including the 4th respondent as early as on 06-12-2014 for sanction of lease in favour of the petitioner, no decision as such is taken and no orders are passed. He also states that the petitioner again made further request to the 3rd respondent on 18-09-2015.

Alleging inaction, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. On instructions, the learned Government Pleader states that after bifurcation of the State, appropriate decision has to be taken as per the policy of the State and the 3rd respondent would take appropriate decision and the same would be communicated to the petitioner. In the circumstances, I deem it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the aforesaid report of the 4th respondent, in the light of the request of the petitioner, and take appropriate decision in the matter in accordance with the policy of the State and Rules and Regulations governing the issue expeditiously.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR, J Date: 27-10-2015 Prv
