Petitioner was working as Home Guard. He was involved in Crime No.39 of 2013. He was accused in S.C.No.45 of 2014 on the file of Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad. By judgment, dated 25.09.2014, petitioner was acquitted of the charges levelled against him. In this Writ Petition, petitioner challenges the show cause notice, dated 27.01.2017, and the earlier proceedings, dated 10.04.2015.

Pursuant to the show cause notice, petitioner submitted detailed representation on 25.02.2017. It appears, so far no orders are passed. As seen from the show cause notice, it only refers to the involvement of the petitioner in the said crime and there is no reference to the subsequent acquittal granted to the petitioner. 3.

Having regard to the acquittal granted to the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Commandant, Home Guard, Purani Haveli, Hyderabad, the 3rd respondent, to consider the explanation submitted by the petitioner in the light of the acquittal granted to him and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
