Ramasubramanian) The petitioners have come up with the above writ petition challenging the auction notice issued under the Security Interest (Enforcement) Rules, 2002.

Heard Mr. Ch. Dhanamjaya, learned counsel for the petitioners and Smt. V. Dyumani, learned standing counsel for the respondent bank.

Today, the learned counsel for the respondent bank produced an e-mail communication to the effect that the mortgagers have made an offer for the payment of the amount due for the release of certain properties and that, on the basis of the said offer, the bank has cancelled the auction sale of flats. Insofar as the hotel property is concerned, the sale did not materialize.

In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. Hence, it is closed.
