In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioners-accused Nos. 1 to 5 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 34 of 2011 on the file of the Court of VII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally at Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 341, 506, 356 and 384 read with Section 34 of IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the case status information dated 07-07-2018 and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 26-02-2018 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 34 of 2011, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
