This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.'), is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.5 of 2014 on the file of Chittamuru Police Station, SPSR Nellore District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 323, 437, 290 of I.P.C. and Section 3 (i) (x) of Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.. During hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor for the state of Andhra Pradesh represented that the investigation revealed that the said crime was falsely registered and hence, the case is referred as false. In that view of the matter, the cause in the Criminal Petition does not survive for adjudication.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand dismissed.
