THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 24918 of 2015 And WP MP No.17 of 2016 ORDER:

The writ petitioner filed WP MP No.17 of 2016 in this writ petition seeking leave to withdraw the writ petition.

Sri Siva S Lanka, learned counsel for the petitioner, stated that in the light of the interim order granted by this Court requiring the respondentauthorities to follow the due procedure laid down by law, the authorities have now withdrawn the proposal to lay a road through the land of the petitioner. He states that it is in view of this development that the petitioner seeks to withdraw the writ petition.

As the respondent authorities have taken heed of the order passed by this Court at the interlocutory stage and have decided, in their wisdom, not to lay a road through the petitioner's land, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
