THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.2779 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

"to issue writ of Mandamus to declare the impugned action of the respondents in not promoting the petitioners as Junior Lecturers in the 2nd Respondent Schools is illegal, improper, unjust, arbitrary, contrary to law and violative of principles of natural justice and further declare that the petitioners are entitled the promotion to the post of Junior Lecturers with effect from the date their juniors promoted i.e 28-10-2015 with all consequential benefits including monitory and service benefits." Heard Sri K. Ramamohan Mahadeva, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare for respondent No.1 and Sri N. Bhoopal Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2.

When the matter is called, it is requested by learned counsel for the petitioners that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioners herein, the petitioners herein submitted a representation, dated 17-11-2015 to the 2nd respondent herein and appropriate directions may be issued to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the said representation, in accordance with law, by fixing some timeframe. This Court considers the said request as reasonable.

For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter and

entitlement of the petitioners, directing the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 17-11-2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein, in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
