THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.9359 of 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner, who was working as a Field Assistant with the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Scheme, has been placed under suspension by the 4th respondent herein/Project Director by his proceedings dated 11.02.2015, though, nearly two months period has already elapsed, nothing concrete has emerged in the matter thereafter.

As per the terms contained in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Scheme/Guidelines, enquiry shall be completed within 30 days from the date of placing the Field Assistant under suspension. Therefore, instead of keeping this writ petition pending, it is disposed of directing the respondents to conduct the enquiry and complete the same, duly following the procedure and adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The final orders shall be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of after hearing Sri M.S.R. Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 3 & 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this petition, shall also stand closed. No costs.
