ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to re-appoint the petitioner as Coal-Filler or in any other equivalent post by considering his past service.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is reported by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents that the petitioner was dismissed from service vide proceedings dated 23.03.1998 and a dismissed employee cannot seek re-appointment.

In view of the same, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
