Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent Criminal Court for filing an application for renewal of passport in terms of GSR 570 E.

Permission is accorded and the writ petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn reserving liberty as sought above. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
