Eluri Venkateswar Rao, S/O Satyanarayana v. State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 17890 of 2015 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. The petitioner is doing business in fertilizers and seeds under a licence granted to him. The licence is valid till 14.05.2018. While so, on 10.06.2015 the 3rd respondent inspected the business premises of the petitioner and found some variation in the books, pursuant to which, 6-A proceedings were initiated against the petitioner. The petitioner filed an application on 11.06.2015 before the 2nd respondent seeking release of the stock pending the 6-A proceedings. When the said application is not considered, the present writ petition is filed. The petitioner is willing to furnish security for the seized stock.
3. In view of pendency of the application of the petitioner dated 11.06.2015 which was received by the 2nd respondent on 15.06.2015, this Court is not inclined to consider the present petition, but however, directs the 2nd respondent to dispose of the application of the petitioner pending before him within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
4. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________________ (A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J) 19th June, 2015
