This writ petition was filed seeking writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner for appointment in Junior Executive Trainee (E&M) E-1 Grade (Men Only) under SC Local Candidate Quota by allowing the petitioner to appear for Written test scheduled to be held on 28.10.2007 at Kothagudem, Khammam District and consequently to declare the inaction of the respondent in sending the hall ticket to the petitioner to appear for the written test scheduled to be held on 28.10.2007 or any other subsequent date at Kothagudem, Khammam District as illegal.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on both sides.

This Court has passed an interim order in W.P.M.P.No.29487 of 2007, dated 26.10.2007, which reads as follows:

"In the light of the facts and circumstances, respondent is hereby directed to permit the petitioner to appear for the written test scheduled to be held on 28.10.2007 or any other subsequent date for the post of Junior Executive Trainee (E&M) E-1 Grade (Men Only) under SC Local Candidate Quota at Kothagudem, Khammam District. However, this permission would be subject to further orders which may be made in W.P.M.P.No.29487 of 2007." 4.

In view of the interim order passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.29487 of 2007, dated 26.10.2007, the cause of action in the writ petition does not survive. 5.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall also stand dismissed.
