THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 12872 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondent No.3 - Sub-Inspector of Police, Alipiri Police Station, Tirupati Urban in interfering with the personal life and liberty of the petitioner to settle the dispute with respondent No.5 though he is not concerned with Crime No.15 of 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits and one M.Raghupathi and others are accused in the said crime and the petitioner was not shown as accused. However, respondent No.3 is calling the petitioner to the Police Station and harassing him. If respondent No.3 is violating the law without any justification, it is always open to the petitioner to bring it to the notice of respondent No.2 - Superintendent of Police, Chittoor District, who is higher authority with regard to the alleged excesses committed by respondent No.3.

Learned Government Pleader for Home submits that respondent No.2 is holding a Grievance Meeting on every Monday and the petitioner may approach respondent No.2 for ventilating his grievance.

Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to approach respondent No.2 for ventilating his grievance. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
