THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 27657 OF 2017 O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus to declare the action of the 2nd respondent Station House Officer, CCS, Basheerbagh, in not registering the crime on the petitioners' report dated 19.07.2017, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) has placed on record the written instructions dated 17.08.2017 secured from the Inspector of Police, CCS, DD, Hyderabad, wherein it has been stated that the police, on preliminary investigation, have come to the conclusion that the dispute complained of by the petitioners is civil in nature and hence, no action has been taken thereon. The said fact has also been informed to the petitioners through Registered Post vide letter No.

Cr/R10/1397/DD/2017/1843, dated 29.072017, a copy of which has also been annexed to the written instructions. Across the bar, a copy of the said letter is made available to the learned counsel for the petitioners as it is represented that his clients have gone back to USA.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to avail the remedies under law. The copy of the written instructions along with the annexures has been taken on record. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
