THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRL.P.M.P.Nos.4783 & 4784 of 2016 & CRIMINAL PETITION No.3661 of 2016 ORDER:
This petition is filed by the accused under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.21 of 2016 pending on the file of Peddemul Police Station, Ranga Reddy District for the offence under Sections 354, 323, 504 and 506 IPC.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, the accused filed Crl.P.M.P.Nos.4783 of 2016 and 4784 of 2006 stating that he has entered into compromise with the complainant and therefore, prayed to grant permission to compound the offences alleged against him and to record the compromise between the parties.
Both the parties as well as their counsel have signed on the joint memo annexed to Crl.P.M.P.Nos.4783 and 4784 of 2016. The parties, who are present in the Court, also affirmed the same. A perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the petition goes to show that the matter was settled between the parties.
In view of the amicable settlement of the dispute between the parties, Crl.P.M.P.Nos.4783 and 4784 of 2016 are ordered and the compromise is recorded. Consequent thereto, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.21 of 2016 pending on the file of Peddemul Police Station, Ranga Reddy District are hereby quashed as against the petitioner herein. The petitioner-accused is directed to pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- towards costs to the Telangana Legal Services Authority, Hyderabad on or before 15th April, 2016.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in this petition shall stand closed.
