This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 6, seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.93 of 2016 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 6 and perused the record.

As per the contents of the charge-sheet, the allegations levelled against the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 6 are for the offences under Sections 498-A, 406 of I.P.C. and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. The trial Court may take the allegations into consideration and direct the settlement of the matter at the instance of the Lok Adalat, in accordance with law, in the event of the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 6 coming forward to compromise.

With the above observation, this Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
