THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.8193 OF 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner-A1 for the offences alleged under Sections 498-A IPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the record.

It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner filed Crl.P.No.8231 of 2017 before this Court to quash the subject crime. This Court, by order, dated 05.09.2017, directed the concerned authorities to follow the decision rendered in RAJESH SHARMA & OTHERS V STATE OF U.P. AND ANOTHER and also directed the Station House Officer not to arrest the petitioner-A1 unless report of the committee on its constitution is received.

Under these circumstances, this Criminal Petition is also disposed of in terms of the order in Crl.P.No.8231 of 2017, dated 05.09.2017.
