The petitioner herein, who has been working as a Field Assistant, has been placed under suspension by proceedings, dated 30.10.2014. Though three months' time has already elapsed, no enquiry has been conducted into the matter.

Therefore, instead of keeping this Writ Petition pending, it would be appropriate to direct Respondents 2, 3 and 4 to conduct and complete the enquiry as expeditiously as is possible, preferably before the end of May, 2015 and also pass appropriate orders and communicate the same to the writ petitioner.

With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of after hearing Sri Sriramachandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
