HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No. 2854 of 2020 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following relief; " to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly a writ in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the demand of the respondents in respect of an amount of Rs.1,50,780/- for registering the vehicle of the petitioner as perse, illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the Circular Memo No.13/4515/R1/2008, dated 30.08.2008 and consequently to set aside the demand dated 17.07.2019 in respect of a sum of Rs.1,50,780/- and direct the 3rd respondent to refund the amount of Rs.1,50,780/- with interest @ 14% per annum from 17.07.2019 till the date of repayment and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court has already dealt with the similar issue and disposed of WP.No.5286/2018 on 02.05.2018.

The same is not disputed by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Transport.

In view of the same and for the reasons alike, it is open for the petitioner to make necessary application before the 3rd respondent for refund of the amount and on such application the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the same in terms of the Judgment passed by this Court in WP.No.5286 of 2018 on 02.05.2018, within a period of two

weeks from the date of filing application by the petitioner. No order as to costs.

As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. __________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 12.02.2020 tk
