Petitioner is a driver of Puttaparhi Depot in respondentCorporation. On his request petitioner was brought to Anantapur Depot and such transfer was treated as deputation. It was initially valid for six months. According to the petitioner after completion of six months, the deputation was further extended and petitioner is continuing in Anantapur. Stating that his wife is a patient and she requires treatment; that he is also a patient and that his children are studying in Bangalore and Hyderabad, a representation was submitted by the petitioner on 20.05.2017 requesting for retention in Anantapur. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this writ petition is filed.

Since a request is already made to the competent authority and the same is yet to be acted upon, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Regional Manager, APSRTC, Ananthapur Town and District (2nd respondent) to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his representation dated 20.05.2017 for retention in Anantapur and to pass appropriate orders. A decision to this extent shall be taken and communicated to the petitioner within a period of four
(4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
