SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.840 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner who is accused in Crime No.18 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Kundurpi Police Station, Ananthapuram District. The offence alleged is under Sections 167, 354 (A), 354 (D), 500, 509 of IPC and Section 66,67(A), IT Act. 2.

The Public Prosecutor brings to the notice of this Court that earlier, the bail petition filed by the petitioner was dismissed by this Court, considering the gravity of the offence and also considering that the investigation is mid way. It is also observed that it is difficult for the Court to conclude that the petitioner did not commit any offence, prima facie and that there is a possibility to interfere with the further investigation.

The public prosecutor also further submits that only two witnesses were examined and further investigation is still pending. On the same grounds this criminal petition is liable to be dismissed and is accordingly dismissed.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
