The writ petition is filed questioning the order of the 2nd respondent in Rc.No.469/E3/2017, dated 13-02-2017, whereby placed the petitioner under suspension and not reviewing the suspension of the petitioner even after lapse of six months. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was placed under suspension by order dated 13-02-2017. But as on today no charge memo issued, as such, by relying on the judgment of Ajay Kumar Choudhary Vs. Union of India1 he submits that suspension cannot be continued beyond three months and submits that writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to respondents to review the suspension order in terms of G.O.Ms.No.86, dated 08-03-1994. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to review order of suspension dated 13-02-2017 and take decision in terms of G.O.Ms.No.86, dated 08-03-1994 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and take action accordingly.
