When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation and also expired during the pendency of the Writ Petition and the relief sought by the petitioner, at this point of time to reinstate him, is not possible. However, this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to pay service benefits for the service rendered by the deceased petitioner for the period prior to his removal, to the legal representatives, if not already paid, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 2.

With this observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 3.
