This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in interfering with the leasehold rights of the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary.

At the hearing, Mr. M. Rajender Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the lease to quarry building stone and road metal granted in favour of the petitioner on 17.10.2003 has expired on 16.10.2013 and hence the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of as infructuous. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P. No.49308 of 2012 and W.V.M.P. No.1186 of 2013 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
