...RESPONDENTS Petition under Article 226 of lhe Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the Nature of Mandamus to declare the entire action of the respondents, particularly the entire action of the 2nd respondent in not considering the case of the petitioners for promotion to the post of DCTO in zone-Vl, inspite of availability of number of vacancies and inspite of repeated representations, even though the petitioners herein are on the verge of retirement is as highly illegal, arbitrary, unjust, improper, clear violative of natural justice including contrary Rule 6 of State and subordinate Service Rules and consequently to direct the respondents to forthwith consider the cases of the petitioners for promotion to the post of DCTO in zone -VI in the existing vacancies by duly considering their representations dated 22.O5.2017 made to the 2nd respondent.

lA NO: 1 OF 2018 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to consider the cases of the petitioners for promotion to the post of DCTO in Zone-Vl in the existing vacancies, as they are retiring from service shortly.
