The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ or order, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 3rd respondent in conducting the investigation into F.I.R.No.96 of 2016 as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation into F.I.R.No.96 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and file the charge sheet. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and perused the material available on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to complete the investigation in F.I.R.No.96 of 2016 and file the charge-sheet as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed.
