HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S. RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.38045 of 2015 O R D E R :

The petitioner is seeking appointment as a fair price shop dealer on compassionate grounds in the place of his deceased father, Domburu, who died on 17.03.2012. Petitioner had made an application on 23.06.2014 to the second respondent for consideration of his case on compassionate grounds as fair price shop dealer in terms of G.O.Ms.No.4, Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies (CS-I) Department, dated 28.02.2014.

2. The petitioner contends that in spite of the fact that the said application was received by the second respondent, no further steps have been taken in the matter by the respondents.

3. Learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for the respondents states that the respondents would consider and dispose of the petitioner's application for appointment on compassionate grounds as fair price shop dealer in terms of the G.O. referred to above within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2014 for appointment on compassionate grounds as fair price shop dealer in Sariyapalli Village, Mandasa Mandal, Srikakulam District within one (1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
