THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.857 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioners-A1 to A4 to direct the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Khammam, to dispose of Crl.A.No.33 of 2016, pending on his file. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner-A1 is a Railway employee, petitioner-A2 said to be a State Government employee and the petitioners-A3 and A4 are aged persons. Their attendance before the appellate Court is causing inconvenience to them. Some times, they are not getting leave to appear before the Court of Session and ultimately, requested to direct the Court concerned to expeditiously dispose of the above Criminal Appeal. 4.

All criminal proceedings are required to be disposed of expeditiously. There is substance in the submission made on behalf of the petitioners. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Khammam, is directed to dispose of Crl.A.No.33 of 2016 within three (3) months from the date of this order.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.

The Registry is directed to communicate the copy of order within 3 days.
