The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of SRI P NAGENDRA REDDY Advocate for the Petitioner and the Additional PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for the Sole Respondent, the Court made the following. ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973', is filed by the Petitioner/A9 for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.1 85 of 2020 of Karimnagar-l Town Police Station, Karimnagar District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420,406 and 409 read with Section 120-B l.P.C.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/A9 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. Perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence, much less the offences alleged against him and that the petitioner is nothing to do with the repayment of the loan amount by the Self-Help group introduced by the Government. He further submits that the petitioner being the resource person might have identified and recommended about the eligibility of the Self-Help group for grant of loan. He also submits that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and he is ready to abide by any condition imposed by this Court.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner 5.

As seen from the contents of the First lnformation Report, the petitioner has only processed the applications of Self-Help Groups to obtain loans through the Bank and the Bank authorities have already i I

released the loan amount in favour of the applicants and that the persons, who have taken loans were also making payments. 6.

Thus, looking into the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner/A9 can be granted bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C on some conditions.

Accordingly, the petitioner/A9 is directed to surrender before the Station House Officer, Karimnagar-l Town Police Station, Karimnagar District, within a period of four weeks from today. On such surrender, the said Station House Officer, shall release the petitioner on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with two sureties in a like sum each to the satisfaction of the said Station House Officer. On such release, the petitioners/A9 shall attend before the said Station House Officer on each Saturday between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM till completion of investigation by furnishing relevant documents in his possession. Further, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated in Section a38 (2) Cr.P.C and co-operate with the lnvestigation Officer in concluding investigation. B.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. 9.
