HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE WRIT PETITION No. 9560 OF 2006 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the prayer made in the writ petition.

The petitioners have challenged the proceedings, dated 24.04.2006, whereby their licenses for running theatres were suspended. No interim order at any point of time was granted by this Court. In view thereof, nothing further survives in the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he is not getting any instructions from the petitioners. With the passage of time, the petitioners seem to have lost interest in prosecuting this petition further and hence, they are not coming forward to give instructions to their advocate on record.

Learned counsel, however, submits that the petitioners, if they so desire, may be granted liberty to apply for fresh licenses.

Writ petition is disposed of as infructuous with liberty to the petitioners, if they so desire, to apply afresh for licenses. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
