THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.28382 of 2016 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To issue a writ order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not assigning land to the Ex-Serviceman in terms of G.O.Ms.No.743, Revenue Department dated 30.04.1963 basing on the latest representations dated 16.12.2014 and 28.07.2016 as illegal, highhanded, arbitrary and unconstitutional, consequently direct respondent Nos.2 and 4 to pass appropriate orders on representations, dated 16.12.2014 and 28.07.2016 and grant such other necessary relief or reliefs in the circumstances of the case.:" Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner so also the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3.
When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner submitted a representation, dated 28.07.2016, to respondent No.2-District Collector, Khammam and no action has been taken thereon till today. Learned counsel requests this Court to direct respondent No.2 to take appropriate action on the representation, dated 28.07.2016, by fixing some time. The said request is not opposed by the learned Government Pleader for Revenue and he submits that the said representation would be considered in accordance with law.
For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to take appropriate action on the
representation, dated 28.07.2016, said to have been submitted by the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order, in accordance with law. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
