When the matter is taken up for hearing, Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents informed the Court that the petitioner had expired on 21.01.2009 and no further steps are taken to bring the L.Rs of the deceased petitioner on record.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court is of the considered view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive and the writ petition has become infructuous. 3.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
