This petition is filed, under Sections 437 and 439 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, seeking to enlarge the petitioner, who is A1, on bail in S.C.No.170 of 2017 on the file of I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Guntur, Guntur District. 2.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the case of the prosecution, the commercial quantity of Ganja was seized from the possession of this petitioner.

However, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not submit any reasons with the help of which the hurdles under Section 37 of the NDPS Act can be crossed. Hence, this court opines that this is not a fit case for granting bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
