ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction declaring the impugned order dated 8.10.2003 issued by the 3rd respondent as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of principles of natural justice apart from violative of fundamental rights guaranteed under Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India with a consequential direction to the respondents to forthwith restore the seniority list of the petitioner immediately below Mr.P.Puli Venkata Reddy and award costs and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem and proper in the circumstances of the case."

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation and at this length of time, the relief sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
