THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.C. BHANU AND THE HON'BLE MRS JUSTICE ANIS WRIT PETITION No.12599 OF 2015 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice K.C.Bhanu) This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed to call for the records relating to the interim order, dated 22.04.2015, in Original Application No.2082 of 2015 passed by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad and quash the same and consequently, to direct the respondents to effect promotion to the petitioner to the post of Superintendent by considering roster point 77.

2. The petitioner herein/applicant filed the aforesaid Original Application seeking a direction to the respondents to effect his promotion to the post of Superintendent by considering roster point 77 meant for Scheduled Caste along with other roster points for general promotions, for which service records have already been called for and promotions are to be effected on 22.04.2015. The Tribunal, upon perusing the application and material papers, passed the impugned interim order, which reads as follows:

"Notice to the respondents returnable in six weeks. Any future promotions made pending disposal of this Original Application shall be subject to result of this Original Application."

As it will protect the interest of all the parties, there are no grounds to interfere with the interim order. The issue of promotion of petitioner at roster point 77 can be decided in the Original Application.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
