THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1789 OF 2016 ORDER:

The present criminal revision case is filed by the petitioner challenging the order, dated 13.06.2016, passed in CR.No.1189/2016/CPE/TS/D1, by the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Telangana State, Hyderabad (for brevity, 'the Commissioner'), whereby the Commissioner held that the vehicle seized is directed to be released to the petitioner while imposing a fine of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakhs only).

Heard and perused the records.

This Court is of the view that the present criminal revision case is not maintainable under Sections 397 and 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.,). Hence, the criminal revision case is dismissed as not maintainable. The Registry is directed to return the Original documents filed along with the present criminal revision case to the petitioner herein. With the above directions, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions filed in this revision, if any, shall stand closed.
